Cookies: Apricot Oatmeal with Walnuts

I think I used a recipe from the woman who wrote Get It Ripe, Jae Steele, as my base recipe.I saw it on her blog  Domestic  Affair But I decided to go for apricots instead of raisins because that is what I had. They were perfect when they were fresh out of the oven. Not too sweet but just enough. Only sweetened with maple syrup and the apricots. The recipe made three dozen. We managed to eat all but one before they got stale. I could go for one of those right now.


Lily is 16 months old

Every Saturday we are at the park for Henry's baseball games. Lily, of course, wants to be on the field with him. But here is a moment where she actually stood still for me to get a shot that I love of her. The pink cheeks and green grass with her blonde hair blowing in the breeze. She's growing up too fast.
